Huawei Announces EMUI 9 Open Beta Program for These Honor and Huawei Devices

Android 9.0 Pie has been gaining market popularity very fast and smartphone manufacturers have been actively adopting this new operating system. The Smartphone Manufacturer Huawei is also not far behind in this race of adapting to the new technology. As we all know Huawei offers its users with a custom user interface for their smartphones with EMUI, and recently they have announced an open beta program for their Huawei and Honor device users. The open Beta Program allows its users to experience the features and UI of EMUI 9 which is based on Android Pie. The Android Pie for Huawei and Honor devices has already been rolled out major Huawei and Honor devices in China. The Company is planning to release he EMUI 9 globally hence the beta program to make it as seamless for the user as possible.

  • Huawei P10

According to the users of this beta program some third-party apps may stop working after the update and you will have to stick to the Stock apps for your daily work. The problems will be fixed in the stable update.
For a user to be able to install the latest version of EMUI 9 they must keep in mind the following things. There should be ample amount of free storage available to download the update (Recommended 6GB). The update and beta program may or may not be available to all the users interested depending on their region and the device they are using like the users of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro will be getting this opportunity in the end of January 2019.

The new Update EMUI bring some pretty cool features and improvements over the predecessors of the User Interface. Along with all the features of Android Pie the new UI from Huawei will be sporting AI-based features and will be optimized for full view displays. The company is also introducing some interesting features like new and improved Password Manager which can auto fill passwords in websites and login forms by verifying the fingerprint or via facial recognition. The new GPU Turbo 2.0 which included support for many more games.
