Google Integrates Spam Protection in its Messaging App

Image Credit: Android Police Tired of lots of messages and SMS spam don’t fret google is here for rescue. Recently Google Messaging App users has been reporting seeing a new feature in the app called spam protection. The feature has been a topic of talk for a long time and was expected to launch sooner or later. The development completed a while ago, almost around six months ago but it took some time for rolling out to begin. The roll-out has been server side and is selective roll-out you may or may not get it soon depending on your luck and region. If you are lucky enough and has received the update then after the update as soon as you open the app you will be notified about. The notification can be seen in the below image. A user can disable/enable the spam protection based on the choice and the setting can be accessed by going to Settings>Advanced Menu>Spam Protection .

New Update to Google Maps With ‘For You Tab’ in iOS and Android

Google has been persistent in improving user experience of the Google Maps app. They gradually moved the Explore tab from sandwich menu to a new tab on the home screen of the app. This tab used to give the user a detailed info on the nearby places according to internal rating system of the google. Now they have tried something new to further improve the experience. Nokia 8 Users May Have to Wait a Bit longer for Android Pie Update

HMD Global the manufacturer of Nokia smartphones is among the very few Handset makers who provide continuous and latest updates to their smartphone users across every price range be it top shelf or mid-range handsets. Acceding to 9to5Google in their close look at the code of new Android Pay app, Google could be looking to implement facial recognition. A very long wait for android wear 2.0 for Asus Zenwatch 3 users is finally over. Asus on their official twitter account has confirmed that the Android Wear 2.0 update for Zenwatch 3 has been rolling out since yesterday. This is really a very good news for all Zenwatch 3 users, but we really hope Asus's social media manager knows what he or she is talking about because so far, we've seen absolutely no screenshots shared online by Zenwatch 3 owners confirming the rollout. This could really mean that the update has not started yet since there are no screenshots till now or it may have reached only limited devices and has yet to reach widely. Any way, it’s almost about time Asus’s latest smartwatches get its own taste of the newest Android Wear 2.0 iteration.
