Nokia 8 Users May Have to Wait a Bit longer for Android Pie Update

HMD Global the manufacturer of Nokia smartphones is among the very few Handset makers who provide continuous and latest updates to their smartphone users across every price range be it top shelf or mid-range handsets. They have already rolled out the latest version of Android i.e. 9.0 Pie to three of their flagships.
Way back in October HMD global announced the rollout of Android 9.0 to their flagship Nokia 7 Plus, and with this announcement they also made public a list of flagships which will soon be getting this update. The users of Nokia 6.1 have already started receiving the update for their handsets but the rollout for Nokia 8 was expected to begin in November.
According to tweet from the chief product officer of HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas, it may take couple of more days for the roll out to begin since there are some issues and difficulties that they are facing and working day and night to fix them. He also ensures that the update will begin rolling out as soon as the issues gets fixed and the latest build is stable enough for the end user experience.
