Leak from Google Confirms New Google Pixel 2

Google Pixel 2

It almost time to get excited about the phones from google in 2017. It has already been confirmed that there will be the successors of Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. There has multiple leaks all over the internet showing that the company is working on not two but three models of the upcoming Google Pixel successors.
A German site names WinFuture followed by the sites Android Police and Droid Life had discovered reference in Google’s latest AOSP to a trio of Google Pixel 2 Whose code names are “Muskie”, “Walleye”, and “Taimen”.
One can also see in the reference all three devices will be using Qualcomm’s cutting edge “MSM8998 Chip”, which is commonly known as Snapdragon 835. After the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 and use of Snapdragon 835 it is clear that Google is not planning to launch a budget friendly smartphone this year. As we all know no affordable phone can come top notch Snapdragon 835 in it. This is the third time independent confirmation of the codenames of upcoming devices in Google’s own code.
From historically we know that company has used Aquatic mammals to brand their smartphone as well as give the idea of the size.
  • 2012 4.7-inch Nexus 4 (Mako)
  • 2013 5-inch Nexus 5 (Hammerhead)
  • 2014 6-inch Nexus 6 (Shamu)
  • 2015 5.2-inch Nexus 5X (Bullhead), 5.7-inch Nexus 6P (Angler)
  • 2016 5.1-inch Google Pixel (Sailfish), 5.5-inch Google Pixel XL (Marlin)
The race to shrink bezel sizes and fit massive display on devices has begun after Samsung fitted 5.8-inch and 6.2 inch panels into the compact Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus respectively. The smartphone brand Apple will also be joining the race soon in 2017.
All this gets to a conclusion that yes we should start getting excited about upcoming Google Pixel (i.e. Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel 2 XL, and Maybe Google Pixel 2 XXL). But there is one down point in all this, Google has already warned us about the price that they will be expensive.
